The Croft to host Holistic Health and Pamper Day
The Croft is inviting local people and residents to enjoy a night of horse racing to raise money for the Royal British Legion (RBL).
The Croft will host the racing event on Thursday 20 November, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Horse races will be shown on a large screen and people who attend will be invited to place bets.
A communal ‘manor house’ located on site at The Croft – the resident ‘hub’ of the community – will host the race night.
Tickets for the event cost £5 and can be obtained from The Croft sales office on North Road in Bourne. The ticket price includes wine and cheese for visitors to enjoy during the evening.
All proceeds from the horse racing event will go to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal – its annual appeal to raise funds for its essential welfare work for service men and women, veterans and their families.
Steve Ironmonger, vice-chairman of the Bourne branch of the RBL, said: “We are delighted to be holding the race night at The Croft and we are grateful for the ongoing support of the development.
“Our fundraising events help ensure the Royal British Legion can continue with its important work, as well as providing a great way of saying ‘thank you’ to all our service men and women, young and old, who give and have given so much for their country and need our support.”
Karl Hick, Larkfleet CEO, said: “The Royal British Legion does a huge amount to help service and ex-service men and women and their families and The Croft is only too happy to support this event.”
The Croft comprises 75 one, two and three bedroom homes, including bungalows, set around attractively landscaped gardens. It offers high quality living for the over 55s, perfect for those who want independent, stylish yet secure living.
